Voith aims at MCMV with eVSP

Latest generation of electric Voith Schneider Propeller offers many advantages for use onboard MCMV vessels. The “traditional” Voith Schneider propulsion system is for a long time installed onboard over 70 minehunters of 15 countries with remarkable reliability. Recently Voith developed the eVSP (electric Voith Schneider Propeller), a new generation of electrical propellers, successfully installed onboard civil shipping for high-quality offshore vessels and passenger ships. Today Voith offers the eVSP for military applications too, in particular for the new generation minehunters.
